It's nice to have the official report and everything, but we have known all of this for years -- ever since the handwritten notes came out, IIRC. The entire Russiagate story was a hoax the entire time, AND THEY ALL KNEW IT. Yet we were subjected to four years of "walls closing in" and "putin's cockholster".

If Alex Jones owes $1B for his misinformation, how much should the media pony up?

I posted your link to Facebook with this comment: "Every thinking person knew it was a hoax at the get-go. But tell a lie, repeat often and with conviction, and many if not most will believe.

Democrats follow in Goebbels' coattails." I followed it up in a comment to my own post: "The description of the report and other lies the FBI and DOJ told is scathing. Another well written piece by a citizen journalist writing his own Substack."

Great work.

So we've firmly established that there's a willingness to use the enforcement arm of the state to control or discredit political opposition. I feel like over the last 20 years I'm getting pretty close to completing my tinfoil-hat "things that the federal government totally doesn't do" conspiracy bingo card.

Unlike some others I was disposed to believe a lot of the original allegations. First of all, i personally loathed Trump since the day he came on the scene. (USFL days for me.) I still do not care for the man personally and always turn off the device when he starts talking. so I was inclined to believe some of the stories. I saw him as a vulgar man and I thought that his outsider campaign might make some amateur mistakes in its communications. But the difference is that I'm just a guy reading the paper, not the FBI. It became clear to me very quickly that most of this was false and what was resounding was not that part of it was false but all of it was false. The difference was that I was willing to believe stuff initially because I did not personally care for Trump but changed my mind when the facts came out. They knew almost immediately this was false and then doubled down. They are not an intel agency, they are party activists.

I'm not a seer, but I knew Russia-gate was a lie from the beginning, and it was used to undermine Trump. In other words I knew it was BS from the minute I heard it, but was surprised it took off the way it did, and people, including those on the left believed it. However, I then came to believe the left wasn't buying it either, but it was their way of not only attacking Trump, but being complicit in his ouster, which is also true for the FBI, and the democrats. I also came to see it as very authoritarian and actually turned me off many of the left wing sites I would reference. The left wing media isn't going to give this coverage or if they do they will spin it to diminish it's significance, and as they always do play on Trump hate, and there is still a lot of that around, just bumped into it on a site last week. For many it's intense and full of rage.

I really wish this would l be taken seriously, but I know that it won't. When the CIA was complicit in pushing the lie of Hunter's lap top, because they wanted a Biden win, what happened to them, or to Schiff? Like Hilary, nothing will happen.

How long before Madam Cankles calls this a โ€œvast right wing conspiracy?โ€

I just watched NBC news on the Durham report: we are lost.

As I recall from reading the account of Hillaryโ€™s campaign Shattered by the journalists embedded in it, the campaign talked openly among themselves about implicating Trump in a Russian scandal. I severed a friendship over her fury that I wouldnโ€™t vote for Hillary. I fundamentally distrusted her, but had no idea how deep and wide her machinations could extend.

Doug: the thinking people hate you and knowingly lied to you. They have a problem with you. They - these people who hate us - are likely your neighbor, maybe your spouse, almost certainly your children, the human resources department at work, and basically every teacher in America. Sorry to pick on your kids, but what do you think they were taught at school?

This is an excellent report, Brad. Thank you for reading Durham's report and starkly summarizing the results.

This is formal confirmation of โ€œespionageโ€ by the democrat leadership (perhaps with assistance from never-trump reps). It must have , beyond reasonable doubt, impacted ballot decisions in both 2016 and 2020 election. Maybe a complaint could be lodged with the UN, as happens with banana republics?

Excellent summary Brad. A damning indictment of the FBI, Hillary Clinton, Obama, Comer, et al.. I wonder what coverage this report will receive in MSM? We live in dark times.

The whole Trump Russia hysteria was obviously fake from the start, for one simple reason: Trump could never be anyone's "asset"! Trump can't even be his own "asset"!

Imagine the worst fever dream is true and Trump supposedly has some quid pro quo with Putin: who would believe (and rest easy) that Donald will be fulfilling his end of the bargain?? (Putin aint that stupid.)

Trump had a 40-yr track record in business before his world-shattering descent down his golden escalator. How many people had he burnt up to that point? How many times did he make an agreement on Monday only to change his mind on Tuesday? Who could trust this man to do anything except whatever he feels like (and benefits him) in the moment?

Too erratic to be successfully bribed: Trump 2024!
