Excellent piece, thanks for that, I did not realize that logistics and practical stuff could be so important, it is so inglorious. These poor people, both sides.

"Amateurs talk strategy. Professionals talk logistics."- General Bradley (Maybe)

Great article, it's nice to see it all laid out as such. Though I still look at many of those isolated photos and stories as propaganda. I agree with the ending statement that Russia has the capacity to utterly destroy the Ukraine, if they have the will. 90% of the debunked propaganda coming out of this war has been coming from the Ukrainian side, so a lot of this should be taken with a grain of salt And we should definitely not be taking POW statements at face value.

I also don't doubt that the Russians are having some unexpected Friction as they mobilize during the Rasputitsa. The decision to move now definitely seemed poorly made given how long that Russian forces have been amassing. I like to half-jokingly tell my wife that I refuse to believe any reporting out of the war until historians have had a chance to pick it apart. Either way, I'm still of the opinion that neither the Ukrainian government nor the Russian government are being ran by good people and all of the fawning over Zelensky is sorely misplaced.
