Don't Worry, LGBTQ Ideologues Were Always Coming for Your Children
Only bigots have a problem with this.

The long ordeal of Pride month is almost at a close, and this year’s affair is ending with a bang after reaching new heights of depravity. As we speak, the Overton window is shifting ever more leftward. The latest absurdity we’re meant to just shut up and accept is that it’s totally cool for LGBTQ ideologues to explicitly state they’re coming for your children.
We’re supposed to be fine with this. That’s according to one of the most tone-deaf, delusional articles ever written, courtesy of NBC News, which tasked itself with defending Pride marchers after a video from a New York City march featured them chanting, “We’re here, we’re queer, we’re coming for your children”:
NBC says the chant “elicits outrage, but activists say it’s taken out of context.”
Context. What exactly is the proper context for such a chant during a time when trans activists are exploiting youth to promote their own interests, hiding an adult agenda behind concern for the plight of children? Should we ignore the fact that progressives are intentionally sowing gender confusion in an effort to indoctrinate young people, and that this ideology is now formally taught and sanctioned in the context of K-12 education? Are we to pretend that this is all normal, and that society is evolving for the better?
NBC is here to tell us why concern among parents is unfounded:
Brian Griffin, the original organizer of the NYC Drag March, . . . said he chanted obscene things in the past, like “Kill, kill, kill, we’re coming to kill the mayor,” and joked about pubic hair and sex toys during marches. People at the Drag March regularly sing “God is a lesbian.” “It’s all just words,” Griffin said. “It’s all presented to fulfill their worst stereotypes of us.” The “coming for your children” chant has been used for years at Pride events, according to longtime march attendees and gay rights activists, who said it’s one of many provocative expressions used to regain control of slurs against LGBTQ people.
Defending LGBTQ ideologues chanting “we’re coming for your children” by essentially saying “that’s what they’ve always done” is certainly something. They’re just words, guys. Come on. They’ve been saying this stuff for years. This is completely fine. There’s nothing to see here. Move along.
Never mind that these fundamentalist spazzes seem to relish going after children and indoctrinating them. I don’t know how any parent could watch this video without their blood boiling:
And yet LGBTQ ideologues cry foul when they’re accused of grooming. Here’s an excerpt from an article titled “How Sexual Abusers Try to Groom Children,” which seems relevant:
It just so happens that this has been a recurring theme over the past few years. A perfect example took place at a Pride parade in Seattle over the weekend, when a group of nude adults rode bicycles in the middle of the street as they waved giddily at a crowd full of children:
Adults exposing themselves to children in public is supposed to be illegal and a surefire way of ending up on the sex offender registry. But it’s gotten to the point where even the cops knew better than to try enforcing the law during a state-sanctioned religious festival. Any officer who stepped in to stop the public grooming would’ve been personally and professionally destroyed, and that’s because we’re in the midst of a full-blown renormalization of society driven by the progressive Left.
As Austin Macintyre points out, this cycle of renormalization is a 4-step process:
Step one: They claim nothing is happening and accuse anyone who notices of lying.
Step two: They reluctantly acknowledge that some isolated incidents might be happening, but insist that those who cry foul are motivated by bigotry.
Step three: They admit it’s happening, but assert that most folks aren’t opposed to it and that those who make such a fuss are the real problem.
Step four: They celebrate that it’s always been happening, force people to participate, and threaten the livelihoods of anyone opposed.
It’s pretty apparent that we’re at the “Sure, maybe gay men are prancing around naked in front of kids, but it’s fine, actually” phase of the renormalization discourse. And it is a slippery slope indeed. We have every reason to believe that things will accelerate even more from this point forward.
It really is remarkable how quickly militant radicals hijacked the hollowed-out gay rights apparatus, and how they’ve managed to use public education, corporate power, and government fiat to enforce the postmodern doctrines of queer and gender theory, deploying children as weapons and assaulting the critical foundations of morality and liberalism. In the process, traditional barriers around sexuality have been so thoroughly eroded that obscene public sexual displays are characterized by the Left as self-expression integral to one’s identity. Ours is now a culture in which adults expose themselves to children without fear of consequences, but you can be arrested for quoting the Bible at a Pride parade.
And the current extremism hasn’t run its course. We’re nowhere near the bottom of the slippery slope. But we’re certainly headed towards it.
