If they are whining in NYC and Chicago over a few thousand people in their cities ILLEGALLY, imagine how awful it is in the border States dealing with MILLIONS. And the gaslighting of Texas Governor Abbot by the Democrat mayors too afraid to name the REAL culprit, Biden, is shameful. 😡😡😡

They should immediately administer these people an 8th-grade academic aptitude test (not sure what this is called these days) and use the results as a way to illegitimately boost the prowess of the city's public schools.

With this & the other stories that abound, the American people might finally see that the entrenched political power structure doesn’t care about them at all.

as a contractor from Texas, I thank you for this coverage.

since 2021 and a bit before, the Texas citizenry has been forced to just deal with this situation. the economic repercussions are enormous in the long haul. having said that, I have found that Mexicans and Latin people in general are some of the most hard working, pro family, awesome demographics around. most of them appreciate the freedom and wealth in America 10 times more than yer average Dem…but there are obvious limits to everything. at the end of the day, this is a game of raw incentives, I can’t blame anyone for taking advantage of Biden’s suicidal policy (can U even call it that?) at the border.

as cynical as it may seem, Abbotts political gamble might just pay off...

👏👏👏The sound that you hear is me loudly applauding Abbot and his brothers in arms. The true hypocrisy of the virtue seeking Dems is on full display. I am doubtful that even this will result in a red wave at the state and local level, particularly given the hypocritical coverage by the supposedly great investigative coverage by the large Democratic media. And it is not an overstatement to say that Biden might even not even be cognizant, in the literal meaning of the word, of what is happening, given his clearly impaired mental functioning combined with the effort by his inner circle of advisors to completely filter and “adapt” the news to which he is exposed. Maybe the White House and Congress should be proposed by the media craving DC mayor as appropriate shelters for the next bus load of migrants sent to DC. That is IMHO the next pressure point to attack directly.

Sounds like a good idea, but I don't want to have to pay for the White House and Congress to be cleaned up after the illegals ravage it, like they have the ⭐⭐⭐⭐ hotels they've been housed in.

Who are these people that we are compelled to displace our citizens? My heart breaks for those kids and their parents.

"We" are not compelled. "We" invited them and passed laws to provide very expensive benefits for them. And why shouldn't people pour over the border to escape their dysfunctional and impoverished societies in most all parts south (some way worse than others) especially with all the great accommodations and benefits they get? I would bring my family.

If you click the link to the the Boston news story, it says that Massachusetts is the only state that has passed a law compelling these family benefits. Sounds so virtuous. But they can't actually afford to provide for more than a few thousand, and so Gov. Healy is reduced to begging people to put people up in their homes. I say keep on shipping thousands and thousands of families to Massachusetts, and let the good residents of bask in the glow of their collective virtue. (And wait until they decide on multi-million dollar per person "reparations" ....

I live in a sanctuary city so I am very familiar with the type of virtuous personality you're referencing. If we are experiencing mass migration from the south, I've not heard anything. Alternatively, there is a pretty sizable population of Mexican and Central American immigrants here to begin with. Maybe the difference is they can blend into the landscape and/or find places to live within the existing populations. The biggest problem is drug dealing, but hopefully, many of the dealers will now be prosecuted or deported. Deportation has got to be back on the table for everyone. Another thing is Latinos don't necessarily vote for Democrats. They don't in this city. So, what are they being imported for?

They will. Remember Martha's Vineyard.

That's what I'm talking about. The hypocrisy

Wasn't Marth's Vineyard built on Point Hypocrisy? 😉

The Dems are operating under the assumption that all of these migrants will vote for them. With the right approach and outreach, I think this could backfire bigly.

not them - their kids raised in the welfare state. They are playing the long game

That was poor planning. Having to kick kids out of school to house illegal immigrants. I think everyone knew it was coming.

Yet it’s the same here in Australia where we don’t have enough housing for the people who are already living here and now we’re bringing in migrants from Gaza. Millions of them.

I’ve mentioned this to people here recently and they don’t believe it will happen. Poor Australia has been too rich for too long and now, in a short few years, we’ve lost the arse out of our economy.

Our labor government has messed up everything in eighteen months. (To be fair we’ve had wild weather which is quite normal for us, but then covid lockdowns followed by more wild weather and the war in the Ukraine is the excuse they need to completely rip us off.) This government is a strange kind of blessing- if we pay attention.

We’re in shock I think. And because the govt is so stupid and corrupt the hits come thick and fast while we sit here like stunned mullets. We don’t know how to fight the woke who entrenched themselves while we were all busy being fairly well off. “Don’t worry, it won’t happen here”. 😂. Ok.
