On that day 2 oceans were no longer enough & America was changed. If any of you had ever ridden in one of those incredibly smooth & fast elevators in either of the towers, it would be easy to understand that the stairs were never going to cut it for the upper floors.
In the World Trade memorial museum there is an exhibit where you can listen to people’s last phone calls to their loved ones. It’s heartbreaking and every American should be required to listen and visit the museum. Never Forget.
My then-husband's mother got on a flight at Logan that morning, headed for DCA. We didn't hear until 36 hours later that her flight had landed safely. They were whisked off to a secured location and not allowed to contact anyone. Yes, later, TPTB used this to whip us up into an excited state that supported what they wanted to do...but on that day, and afterwards, our hearts and our minds were in the right place.
Thank you Brad. This day should never pass without an appropriate remembrance, and this was about as appropriate as it gets. Although it hurts every time, I’ll mark this day every year til I’m gone.
Damn….that hit hard!
It sure did. 😢😭
“So now faith, hope and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”
Thank you, Brad. I really needed to see that. It's important to remember how fragile life is, and to appreciate your loved ones.

🌺 😢😭😢😭😢😭 🌺
It is still incredibly painful to hear, I remember the day and the time very well
I hope that, if I ever have to face something that will likely result in my death, I can be as brave as Todd Beamer.
In the end it is love that matters.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
There is good and there is evil.
Wow, this was powerful.
Thanks Brad
Thank you.
