I think their idea is to replace a system that is at least somewhat based on merit and competence with some sort of social credit based system that pretends to be about inclusiveness but is really about conformance.
The trick of course is then to rig the system so that being a woman or minority doesn't count as much towards your credit than appearing sufficiently woke and being apt at playing their games with the ever changing categories of oppression. One example is Twitter replacing a black woman (in charge of DEI) who said a room full of white men can still be diverse with a white woman who says the opposite.
It wasn't merely ivermectin. Two other Trump recommendations were mocked, a major mistake. One was Hydroxychloroquine, the other lights shining inside the body. Hydroxychloroquine was called dangerous by people who knew nothing about it. My younger daughter took it daily for more than 25 years as a treatment for systemic lupus. People laughed about putting lights inside the body, so I did a 35% design of a low-power small LED light string inserted similar to the way a stent is inserted. It appeared that it would work.
An excellent piece, thank you, oh "filthy layman" who has the nerve to assume the "coveted role of Oracle"! A wonderful way with words - and they make sense, too....
Brad -- This is sincere feedback from an admirer of yours. Einstein has shown that the number of relative clauses in the universe is fixed, and I'm afraid someone might accuse you of inadvertantly using up more than your fair share. Please consider adopting a voluntary limit!
You are very perceptive, and say what needs saying. Thank you!
A friend, a PT big on lymphatic drainage and myofascial release, frustrated that doctors didnt recommend more hands on approaches to illness, recently told me she always consults this, #alfontesmedia, to determine media bias. I did my due diligence...nonsense! I was shocked to learn she was all in for the vaccine and and that the sites I used to determine the effectiveness of Ivermectin and problems w vaccines were all wrong. I am still trying to comprehend our conversation! She recommends the following: OMG!!!

promotes a false equivalency between left and right, lionizes a political 'center' as being without bias, and reinforces harmful perceptions about what constitutes 'news' in our media ecosystem, and is ignored by anyone that doesn't already hold a comparable view of the media landscape."[16]
Great post! Central planners gonna centrally plan, and therefore screw everything up.
good stuff.
it’s become very clear to me that Social Justice isn’t remotely about justice, it’s about Power.
having a critical theory “lens” or talking about privilege and race is just talk.
it’s time to start asking the activist types exactly what they think needs to be done about all this “oppression”.
if you actually can get them to talk about this long enough, the answer always come back to Power.
give us Power.
it’s the same game since day one of humanity.
and if they can’t get Power, then they will take money.
same old, same old.
and the elites are smart enough to give them just enough to leverage Real Power for those that are really in control.
as we slouch toward Bethlehem...

Duly noted! I appreciate the feedback and will try to improve.
No, don't break anything! So, you're a rebel with clauses. We like it. 😂
