The Lunacy at "Pro-Palestine" Campus Encampments
Peak exhibitionistic activism. Peak narcissism.
Note: I realize that the Israel-Palestine conflict is extremely controversial, with people on both sides feeling very strongly about it. But what’s happening on university campuses across America right now at “pro-Palestine” protests and encampments varies from absurd to insane. I took the time to collect the content below in an effort to highlight this and what it portends, considering that many of these indoctrinated students will one day run our key institutions.
For the record, I don’t think any of this speech should be suppressed. I believe everyone should be allowed to say exactly what they want unless it poses an actual threat to the physical safety of others. Let these morons speak and perform. It exposes wokeness and the Left’s neo-Marxist analysis of society, in which we are all mere appendages of various groups of oppressors and oppressed (with the oppressed incapable of being at fault), for the toxic bullshit that it is. And it’s showing the country how utterly captured the university system is by Leftists, which is clearly resulting in brainwashed students.
Enjoy the lunacy, which I have organized by school.
Columbia
Someone named Tai Lee did a “Stop Cop City Teach-In” at Columbia’s “liberated zone” in which she said the following:
We know that the police are... they’re pigs, fuck the pigs forever, but they are very much an occupying army towards the people that live inside the United States of America... We should learn from these resistance movements, learn their tactics, and utilize them here. Rather than just taking shit from the cops lying down right. We need to level up in the way that we approach our confrontations with the police.
Teacher tells protestors “Don’t work, don’t go to class, don’t research. Act out your Marxist and post-colonial ideas!”:
A student gives a very coherent answer on when she started learning about Israel-Palestine:
Students perform some kind of Earth Day dance with string:
Preparing for the NYPD to arrive, a protest leader asks “Will you be ready to turn up for your comrades?”:
“Let it be known that it was the Al-Aqsa Flood that put the Global Intifada back on the table again. And it is the sacrificial spirit of the Palestinian Freedom Fighters that will guide every struggle on every corner of the earth to victory”:
Columbia gave students a deadline to vacate their encampment and explained the policies being violated:
And then there’s Khymani James, one of the most vocal student activists leading Columbia’s “Gaza Solidarity Encampment”:
He’s been at this since long before October 7th, and his unfiltered posting history was brought to the attention of administrators earlier this year after he announced on Instagram that if a Zionist were to ever approach him physically, “I don’t fight to injure, I fight to kill!”
James elaborated on his worldview in a January 2024 preliminary disciplinary hearing (which he live-streamed), to the tune of lines like “I think that taking someone’s life in certain key scenarios is necessary, and better for the overall world,” and “Zionists don’t deserve to live,” and “Be grateful that I’m not just going out and murdering Zionists”:
He said all of this to school administrators in the “Center for Student Success and Intervention”… and nothing was done. As Wesley Yang points out, “The disciplinary authorities -- two black women -- keep giving him opportunities to say ‘I disavow’. They clearly don't want to have to punish him. They just want him to check the box (‘shows remorse’) that will allow them to let him off with a wrist slap. But he’s not having it. He’s not gonna do it. He’s got too much flair for that.”
CNN apparently did an interview with James last Thursday where he “repeatedly declined to apologize for the video”—and the network didn’t report it until the video went viral. James has now been “banned” from campus. And that’s it. Not suspended. Not expelled.
Cal Poly Humboldt
The entire Cal Poly Humboldt campus was forced to close through the end of the semester after students seized multiple buildings and barricaded them. The buildings (one of which is now called “Intifada Hall”) are completely trashed, with graffiti plastered all over the walls.

Vanderbilt
…is reportedly one of the only schools that has actually expelled some students so far.
According to the Associated Press:
Freshman Jack Petocz, 19, one of those expelled, is being allowed to attend classes while he appeals. He has been evicted from his dorm and is living off campus.
Petocz said protesting in high school was what helped get him into Vanderbilt and secure a merit scholarship for activists and organizers. His college essay was about organizing walkouts in rural Florida to oppose Gov. Ron DeSantis’ anti-LGBTQ policies.
What the AP doesn’t tell you is that this particular student “was expelled not for protesting but because he was charged with misdemeanor assault for allegedly pushing a Vanderbilt staff member while trying to storm a building on campus.”

Young Native Americans arrived at the UCLA “Liberated Zone” with a sign saying: “Hamas supporters aren’t welcome on Native lands.” They were then attacked:
According to Lightspark CEO David Marcus, who went to speak with students at the UCLA encampment:
1) Most of them openly say they support Hamas, a designated terrorist organization;
2) They say 10/7 atrocities, rapes, murders, didn’t happen. The official line is “even the NYT debunked it!”;
3) 10/7 was justified. It was resistance.

Students chant “viva viva Palestina” as they remove an American flag, cheering when it hits the ground:
A Jewish student is prevented from entering the grounds, with someone on a megaphone announcing “Attention everyone! Can I get everyone to form a human chain, we have a Zionist at the entrance of our encampment”:
A reminder that this is the university where a student emailing the words “trap house” led to hysteria, and where a polite email about Halloween costumes ruined the safe space students needed to learn.
It used to be that if you graduated from one of these universities, it almost guaranteed the student a job. But who is going to hire one of these hate filled antagonistic morons?
Look at that first picture.
