Aimee, a 44-year-old screenwriter in Los Angeles, likes the “emotional freedom” that comes from wearing a mask: “It’s almost like taking away the male gaze.”

LOLOLOL

I'm gonna guess here that the "male gaze" isn't a big problem in her life.

I know we all have certain things that most bother us about living through our Lite Cultural Revolution (such as mask hysteria and mask conformity), but one of mine has to be how upscale (mostly white) women (who live in unprecedented freedom and safety w unprecendented opportunity) have hypnotized themselves into believing that there's a big bad patriarchy out there oppressing them.

Too bad masks don't prevent you from spouting groupthink cliches.

Brad, I think you are treading on thin ice when you blaspheme the covidian religion, their high priest, and their preferred talisman, the mask. You clearly run the risk of being struck down by lightning, or maybe by a huge lead mask that falls from the heavens. Be careful, my friend.
