Stuff You Should Know About Covid
Some things I've learned while working on a story.
I am kind of sort of trying to write a long story about such and such, but there’s just been so many unbelievable things I’ve learned, so much information to sift through, that it’s taking forever. It seems like every single day brings with it a new cache of wowies worth looking into.
Consider, for example, the chart above, which shows that Los Angeles — where I live, and which is like the forward operating base for all things COVID-hysteria — has seen a stunning 3,873% increase in cases despite some of the world’s longest mask mandates and strictest vaccine “passport” requirements. To the best of my knowledge, grocery stores are the only places you can enter without having to show your vaccine passport, and masking is required indoors everywhere. But I have empirically verified that an almost comically large number of people are still wearing masks outdoors, as seen below.
The facts about COVID-19 that are suddenly grabbing eyeballs among center-left media, and which the Biden administration and the CDC have started to acknowledge as truth rather than “misinformation,” have been understood by epidemiologists since nearly the beginning of the pandemic. These are facts that, previously, were you to endorse them on Twitter, you’d be loudly dismissed as a conspiracy theorist or some other ridiculous label and suspended — or even banned — from Twitter.
Is it a coincidence that the Biden administration, the media, and the CDC waited until midterms to acknowledge that vaccines do not prevent transmission; cloth masks don’t work; lockdowns have been very harmful and especially so on children; and a massive number of the deaths in the CDC’s tally which have been included in the intentionally ominous-looking toll glued to the chyron of every CNN bit were not people who died from COVID, but people who died with COVID? Indeed, just today the CDC director said on ABC News that over 75% of “COVID deaths” have been people over the age of 70 (average age 81) with at least four comorbidities. FOUR.
Is all this finally being shared publicly now even though it was known as far back as April 2020 because Biden’s zero-covid nonsense concerning an endemic virus is being exposed as the pipe dream it always has been? Are Democrats hyperventilating and trying to shift their narrative from COVID fear porn to hey-maybe-we-should-talk-about-cost-benefit-analysis-regarding-all-this-covid-stuff common sense because they’re on track to be swept away by a “red wave” now that people are finally beginning to arise from their stupor?
Some random, largely unknown things regarding COVID and the pandemic that I think are worth mentioning:
Unvaccinated nurses were either let go or forced to quit because of the vaccine mandate, but COVID-positive nurses are being allowed to work. Because that seems fair, right?
145 different research studies have affirmed that naturally acquired immunity from COVID (as in you had COVID but beat it) is superior to existing vaccines, and like all naturally acquired immunity it lasts a lifetime. Ergo, why should someone who already had COVID be forced to get a vaccine for which the long-term effects are impossible to know if they don’t even need it?
Vaccine induced immunity wanes significantly over time. In other words, the vaccines only work for about six months, at which point efficacy falls to a level that would require one to get another “booster.”
An extensive body of high quality science regarding the efficacy of wearing masks conclusively shows they do not prevent viral transmission in a highly controlled hospital setting where practitioners are trained on proper mask usage, which means they sure as shit aren’t going to work out in the public where approximately no one follows the “protocols” correctly.
Beginning in March 2020 — essentially the beginning of the pandemic — the CDC issued guidance instructing those responsible for filling out death certificates to add COVID-19 to the death certificate if it was merely assumed to have contributed to the death:
“It is important to emphasize that Coronavirus Disease 2019 or COVID-19 should be reported on the death certificate for all decedents where the disease caused or is assumed to have caused or contributed to death.”
Shortly after this guidance was issued, some doctors revealed that they were being pressured to fraudulently list COVID-19 on death certificates even when it was not a cause of death because there were substantial financial incentives for hospitals to do so. According to Dr. and Senator Scott Jensen:
"Hospital administrators might well want to see COVID-19 attached to a discharge summary or a death certificate. Why? Because if it's a straightforward, garden-variety pneumonia that a person is admitted to the hospital for—if they're Medicare—typically, the diagnosis-related group lump sum payment would be $5,000. But if it's COVID-19 pneumonia, then it's $13,000, and if that COVID-19 pneumonia patient ends up on a ventilator, it goes up to $39,000."
Anthony Fauci is a rather less than honorable person. I say this not as someone with some kind of vendetta, or a partisan who gorges on Fox News and obscure media sources looking for “evidence” to confirm his priors, but as someone who has decided to do actual research on Fauci after learning that he’s not only the highest paid doctor in the federal government, but the highest paid out of all four million federal employees. With an approximately $417,000 salary, he even makes more than the President does. And while I won’t give you a book-length overview of why I think Fauci is, well, a scumbag, I will note that one of the world’s top experts on intellectual property and patent law including expertise as it relates to the medical field, David Martin, laboriously produced a 205-page dossier detailing a damning number of reasons why Fauci should currently be in prison. Included within:

But though David Martin has shared this dossier with federal prosecutors all over the country, not a single attorney has had the balls to take on the case. Fauci is a beloved figure on the left, first anointed simply because Trump didn’t seem to like him very much and thenceforth protected by the media over and over again. There’d obviously be consequences for an attorney who went after him.
