And smart! I feel so intelligent after reading most of these. But more than being smug, I think, “Dear God!” Sometimes I even say that aloud while reading. How?! HOW do most of these people get a mic or platform to spew their insanity?! “America was founded on slavery” is CRT at its worst! My word, did that woman never have an American history course in her life?! I can’t. I’m going back to folding clothes before my mind explodes. 🤯
My takeaway this morning after reading Brad's assembled list of quotes is that Trump continues to succeed in his strategy to cause raging insanity in the Democrat political-media apparatus thus ensuring the voting public continues to be reminded of it.
I watched an interview with someone who's name I cannot remember, but I do remember that he was credible in saying that Jankowitz was more intelligent, informed and layered than her performance might indicate. That comment made the small hairs rise on the back of my neck as it is infinitely more frightening.
Sunny Hostin nodding as Mystal says every law passed before the Voting Rights Act is presumptively unconstitutional, and you think, "Wow, this is double crazy."
Then you go the The View's TikTok page and peruse the comments under the clip where he rants his lunacy, and the "hold my beer" quotient is amazing. Over 1200 comments of:
"This man is on to something. He's gonna need protected."
"And a lot of sitting senators went to segregated schools. They're not wiser, more educated, more worldly, more cultured, or more capable of leadership then millennials, they're just more rich."
"Finally someone with sense.. how we going by a constitution that was made before I was even a human in America"
"The way my jaw is on the floor. This is stuck a valid take, why would y’all have to abide to these laws"
"WE NEED A NEW CONSTITUTION THAT ISNT WRITTEN BY PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT OTHER PEOPLE"
It still amazes me that there are people gullible enough to believe that there are millions of people out there whose lack of ID has completely shut them out of every aspect of society, yet somehow reliably show up to the polls on every election day, and in numbers large enough to affect the outcome.
This Elie Mystal person gets my retard of the week award.
I'm sure he meant to say that all laws with respect to voting created before 1965 should be presumptively constitution, but even me trying to fix it for him still leaves him in retard territory.
There's not a thing wrong with requiring voter ID. It's not because i desire to restrict people from voting per se. I want like to know who voted and to know that those voting are eligible to vote, particularly in the presidential election. There are other restrictions on voting, like being a convicted felon (I don't agree with this law, but i digress) Everyone of voting age in the country (probably the voting age restriction should be unconstitutional too eh?) should have identification. They won't be able to purchase beer and cigarets and drive without an ID. It's not like we're discriminating against some protected class.
That voter fraud argument is pretty weird, if voter fraud doesn't exist and everyone who shows up is eligible to vote then there shouldn't be a problem with requiring ID either.
My governor, JB Pritzker, leads off the lineup of crazies, as well he should. Mayor 6% (Brandon Johnson of Chicago who posts 6% approval rating) is an even more prolific source of insane quotes.
These people remind me of flat Earthers. They've convinced themselves that their ignorance is intelligence, and they are insufferably smug about it. Jankowitz is the worst because she's utterly convinced that if people are allowed to see "wrong" information, they get crazy ideas about whatever.
Let's not forget that Jasmine Dipshit was a private school kid and now she's trying to pander to inner city folks she couldn't give two craps about. And Elie Mystal is an activist version of The Nutty Professor. These insufferable gits should look deepinside for guidance if they really want to remedy problems.

Admittedly, I don't know the context of this quote.
This substack is a highlight of my Friday morning. I feel so normal after reading these quotes.

I feel every word of this. 😂
Jasmine Crockett seems to have moved into Joy Reid's time slot here.....big shoes to fill I know, but she seems more than capable......
One nigger cunt is just like any other.
I think she has a shot at the title....she just needs to keep it up

Can anybody explain why anyone in DC is letting Nina Jankowicz testify at any hearing? She is still disturbingly weird and pro censorship.

Loathsome as her comments are, you have to admit she's quick on her feet.
Your words apply to many Democrats in Congress.
Free speech! Let her say her piece. It just makes her sound worse than ever.

By Jasmine Crockett’s own admission, she is a DEI hire. And as she manages to prove on a regular basis, unqualified for anything.

They’re superior in saying the opposite of the true intent. Not requiring ID is to allow & promote voter fraud…period

That said, my first thought is "Yes. So?"
The world would be a far better place immediately after Mystal losing the top of its head.
