the first comment reminds me of Sowell's comment "when you receive preferential treatment all of your life equality looks like discrimination."

Wow, we're really at the point where they're telling us Kamala Harris was the most qualified candidate in history. The Dems are sliding into irrelevance faster than even my cynical ass expected. Time for them to join the Whigs!

Yup. VP must be a heckuva job, because I clearly remember that Hillary was the most qualified candidate in history when she ran.

World records are broken all the time, I'm sure the next candidate is even more qualified.

It's like homeopathy for politics: the more diluted their qualifications, the more qualified they are.

"The Roman Empire didn’t survive because it didn’t have enough strength in its diversity. It suppressed its diversity, and it died." lololol!!!

Joy Reid is joyously moronic and knows absolutely nothing except her own sense of grievance and entitlement.

Rome was packed with Gauls, Goths, Greeks, Huns etc but they didn't realize that Diversity was their Strength™, they only knew that they would sack the city whenever they had the chance. Diversity was their strength...until it was their undoing—which of course was inevitable, as nothing lasts forever.

And speaking of things not lasting forever, our class of professional Blacks, the 21st-century blues singers who were processed and molded by liberal academia to always show their scars and sing tales of woe about the pains and struggles of their people, are going to have a hard time going forward, as their guilt trips become devalued and their audience of anxious whites shrinks and dies off.

Of course Joy et all are kicking and shrieking against being judged by their abilities and not by the moral and social credential provided by their race—it's all they got!

Charles Cooke is a breath of fresh air in the general Liberal tide that pollutes what was a clean beach. Is Tim Waltz really worth quoting anymore? He is a liar & a proven liar. And, then, Joy Reid, historian & now white person - “distill us just down to white folks”. Who knew white folks are just distilled non- white folks? Okay, she’s not a geneticist either.

Remind me what the conservative universities we have are. Also, I picked out Joyless, the race lady’s, quote in about 8 words.

It's not like they ever showed any restraint when they were in power. Somehow the rules always only seem to apply when the other side is in power.

If the dems are so fixated on rule of law, why weren't they screaming about the MILLIONS of people crossing the border illegally as it happened? Could they have had in the backs of their minds that there is no way on earth that each one could have due process in order to send them back?

Also, it's always comical how they revert to the concept that "illegals" are good people because they pay their taxes. I would venture to guess that the wide majority of American citizens who break the law or even murder also pay their taxes. That's not a litmus test for purity.

The question also is what process is actually due in removing someone who is illegal. You can easily have a hearing remotely and being removed to your country of origin or the place you were coming from is far more humane than being thrown into some detention camp.

In order to "pay their taxes" the illegals also have to engage in further crime, they're going to need to steal an identity with a social security number or obtain one through fraud, defrauding their employer about their status and working without a work visa. If someone steals a car they don't make it right by paying taxes on the value of the car they stole.

I'm always entertained by these wild quotes from mentally ill people and professional liars. I guess they are predictable. They say the the same thing over and over. They just repackage it. A turd is still a turd no matter how much you polish it.

And Joy(less) Reid has clearly not been to Europe in the last 20 years. What a sad and clueless person she is.

Agreed. I'll also note that her deep understanding of the fall(s) of the Roman Empire shed some new light on the cause. I've never read that Rome ever measured or took account of diversity, much less tried to suppress it.

“It’s a real slippery slope. Trump does this to Harvard, and what’s president Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez gonna do to a conservative school?” — CNN’s Jake Tapper

So Tapper admits that Harvard is a liberal school. Good.

Now he should ask any informed MAGA supporter if he would support the same loss of federal funding for any "conservative" school discriminating on race, gender, etc., and promoting antisemitism.

“If you take [diversity] away and try to distill us just down to white folks, we’ll be like Europe, an aging, slowly dying former empire..."

Has Joy Reid not noticed the huge numbers of non-white immigrants flooding Europe?

I am confident that Taylor Lorenz is not actually immunocompromised. I am also confident that she truly believes she is immunocompromised. This is because in her ideology victimhood = prestige so she simply HAS to adopt some victimized identity or otherwise she is just a regular white person which is the ultimate non-victim and beneath contempt. This is also why trans is so useful to white Wokies - a completely unfalsifiable way to instantly adopt a marginalized identity via a simple verbal declaration - and again I'm sure most of them believe what they are saying because the incentive to believe is so strong.

I wouldn't be surprised if constant isolation and many boosters and wearing masks all the time messed with her immune system. It's been known to happen. Doesn't make it other people's responsibility to care for her health.
