Silver medal: Valerie Jarrett during that Huma Abedin clip, saying, incredibly, "She expects to win because she is actually the most qualified person running.for office." The 2016 Clinton talking point is back, baby.
Bronze medal: CNN trolling America by bringing back Brian Stelter.
I'm sure Whitmers working class parents (both attorneys) taught her all about screwdrivers which turned out to be very important in her career as an attorney. What is it with all the blue-collar lawyers in politics?
"Another New Yorker story about an Austrian heiress who recruited fifty people from all walks of life to redistribute twenty-five million euros—if they could agree on how to spend it."
The 50 people will agree to take 500,000 euros each.
Reading the article about the Austrian heiress and the council she formed to redistribute her money (all fair as long as it's her money): Those "councils" are straight out of communism as an alternative to parliaments and political parties - the Russian word for it is "soviet" which may sound familiar to some. The author somehow fails to mention that when praising them as an alternative to partisan parliamentary politics.
Those rich people who advocate for more taxation on themselves (taxmenow) can easily turn their wealth over to the government, those in Germany can use a bank account provided by the German government for the purposes of debt reduction. The department of the treasury in the US also offers something similar, I'm not sure about Austria. You can probably also put the government in your will. This seems seems to be more about grabbing attention, virtue signaling and making sure others are forced to pay as well.
Regarding polls, I’d like to share the following 3 links that show Trump still slightly leading Harris with the 3rd link rating the poll, for fairness.
I believe it will come to the debates. If Trump shows himself to ‘presidential’ & intelligent while Harris displays her usual inability to think away from a script, then the polls will show a marked fall in Harris’s electability. Perhaps as bad as Biden’s fall.
“Joy” does not make a president. Trump just has to make the car that most people were better off under his presidency than the Biden/Harris reign of error.
Harris flunked a home court interview on CNN at the first question. How could someone running for president not be prepared to answer the question "What are you going to do on day 1 if elected"? Likely, Harris is going to try to run out the clock and say nothing but phrases and slogans on each question. Trump probably has some good retorts for that. If he manages to keep his ego in check all he needs to do is let her talk. Similar to what happened with Biden.
The quote from Bret Weinstein is interesting considering that he and his wife were both fired from their positions at Evergreen University for the unforgivable sin of being white, during an orgy of Democrat-led wokeness. After that, they still proclaimed themselves "true blue." Any idea what opened his eyes?

I'm not sure that Putin was trolling about wanting Harris over Trump though...Michael Tracey made some really good points in this tweet:

Or maybe it was obvious to Putin that the comment would make American heads explode.
Most qualified, other than the guy who has 4 years of experience in the job?

Exactly. Are we to believe that either Whitmer or Harris can (or their husbands) can swing a hammer or know what kind of screwdriver to use?
On the other hand in many videos Harris often appears to be hammered...
Lolol
If by screwdriver they mean orange juice and vodka, then I'm sure it's a vital part of her career.

What did I win?

I didn't read the article, but my thought was she was making a point about people not being able to agree about anything.
Of course, if she appointed the members herself...

Not mine, but:
"JOY = Joke's On You"
After 2016, I no longer pay attention to polling.
Thanks Brad.
Love the story from Vulture, and your quotes. Thanks.

I couldn't find Yang's reply to Nate Silver on X. Great observation, nonetheless.
