Seeing so much of it compiled into a list...it makes me wonder if the object of the game isn’t to desensitize us to a world gone mad where anything and everything goes. Seems no one is even trying to be covert about the inversion and gaslighting.

Thanks for putting the Lahaina situation on the list. I notice that after the count of fatalities topped 100, the count was abruptly shut down. Do they think we will forget? Do they understand that it is impossible to sell this tragedy as the result of climate change?
Brad, a thought about the Ukraine situation and US wars in general since WWII:
We have all heard the idea that the Ukraine situation is just like Munich- if we don’t stop Putin now, he will try to take over Europe, just like Hitler in 1939!
Hurler’s blitzkrieg overran most of Europe in what- 6 or 8 weeks? Clearly Purim’s situation is radically different. A year and a half in, they are fighting of yards of territory. No blitzkrieg here, and a false analogy to Munich.
The only “victory” the US can claim in all the post-WWII conflicts is the Cold War. The one where Reagan employed the idea of an actual homeland defense (Star Wars), and diplomacy and rhetoric to fight the battle. Not one of these wars to “save the world for democracy” has done a thing to improve the standing of the US, either at home or abroad. In fact, they have done the opposite.
How anybody can look at the neocon ideas as advancing American strength is really hard to fathom. All of the actual historical evidence says otherwise.
The really scary part is these quotes are from only one week. Not an annual list. Hell, even monthly would make me feel a little better. Great stuff!
