Noted sex pest Louis CK may have been cancelled but he'll always be a limousine liberal at heart.
Like the rest of his cohort, even the ones not famous for jerking off in potted plants, no amount of social destruction is too high to distract them from their great need to publicly preen their enlightened sanctimony.
The rest of us may have to live in squalor and deal with increased crime, but he can always retreat to one of his vacation homes.
But, hey, at least he was honest: America's rich and elite hate our country and people, and since Trump, they don't even try to hide it anymore.
With regard to illegal immigration. from what I have been seeing there is a major fight in corporations right now and the CFO's have the upper hand. they are holding firm on keeping wages down despite 2 years of serious inflation. they are terrified of the impact of increasing wages to rank and file because of the direct impact on expenses as well as the Fed being spooked by wage increases.* that would cause them to continue to raise interest rates and lower stock prices. Therefor it is imperative to increase the labor supply to keep wages down. Heaven forfend that we see a decline in asset prices that is linked to something beneficial to the middle/working class.
* It is worth noting that increased wages, irrespective of productivity, is the one thing the Fed and its acolytes seem to worry about the most.
"rapper Tory Lanez, who shot a woman in the feet while yelling “dance, bitch!”". I'd love to know what his defence lawyer had to say about that? And did he rap out his lines?
Why look at that, Brad. I had six open pages on my browser and finally got around to finishing this excellent round up and there I am! Thanks for putting my Russell Brand link with all these great references and quotes.
My robot vacuum does remind me a bit of Joe Biden. It sometimes seems to wander and shuffle around aimlessly, can only repeat pre-programmed phrases and can't handle any stairs.
Regarding the production of artillery shells or ammunition in general, it seems to me that NATO mainly focuses on super-expensive "Wunderwaffen", somewhat like Nazi Germany. Russia was able to beat this back with sheer force of numbers (both lives as well as materiel) supported by the German industrial base and supply chain being destroyed through aerial bombing campaigns. The sort of shock and awe, blitzkrieg strategy that worked so well in defeating the government of e.g. Iraq doesn't really work in a war against a power like Russia or even an insurgency like the Taliban. If you spend a million dollars to destroy a truck worth 50k you're going to lose pretty decisively in a war of attrition.
One volley from the HIMARS cost $1 million, a single Patriot Missile costs $4 million. A single F35 fighter jet is estimated around $100 million and they don't even need to take enemy fire to crash.
Now in case of a World War the defense industry would probably be nationalized, but as a factor for deterrence through superior firepower I think NATO mostly failed. It would behoove European countries to re-think the setup of their military, instead of focusing on supporting US foreign interventions in poor countries with weak military they should focus on making an attack or invasion extremely costly and that can't really work with few but very expensive weapon systems (that also need highly trained soldiers to operate).

Ray Epps. Such a blatant load of bullshit with this guy.

Was I the only one who saw our inability to meet austria-hunrgarian levels of artillery shell production as a good thing?
It would be a good thing if we were still making other things (other than weapons)...
