Surprise art in Washington D.C. that will likely trigger proponents of the covid regime.

Something weirdly satisfying happened yesterday. Overnight, some intrepid soul named Leigh Wolf put up some amazing street art in downtown Washington D.C.
As you can see, it’s a mockup of Soviet-era propaganda depicting our most hallowed pooh-bahs and their authoritarian ways.
The first square shows an apoplectic Joe Biden holding a mallet (which is OSHA-labeled) surrounded by the word “comply.” The second reads, “Good kids are compliant kids,” and shows a group of red-masked children looking up adoringly at Biden, who is surrounded by needles. The third — “Mandate! Segregate! Subjugate!” — has Biden holding the coronavirus in his hand.
And the fourth, which is my favorite, depicts our lord and savior Anthony Fauci — he of the recently leaked email cache that, as The Intercept aptly noted, “paints a damning picture of U.S. government officials wrestling with whether the novel coronavirus may have leaked out of a lab they were funding, acknowledging that it may have, and then keeping the discussion from spilling out into public view” — adorned in clergy attire and holding a hypodermic needle like a sword.
The Message
I feel like this goes without saying, but the worst way to convince people to get a vaccine created in less than a tenth of the time it usually takes to develop one (and for which there is no long term data) is a politically-fraught blame campaign orchestrated by elitist liberal snobs who love nothing so much as persecuting people who dare to think differently than they do. And it definitely doesn’t help when these elitist liberal snobs and the “leaders” they worship have a richly deserved credibility problem with an enormous segment of this country.
The street art’s message seems to be one that I wholeheartedly agree with:
We’re tired of the regime’s authoritarian and grossly un-American bullshit.
We’re tired of an ideologically-motivated media industry that has actively worked to obscure the truth about risks, restrictions, and what’s quickly becoming the permanent state control of basic behavior.
We’re tired of journalists manipulating audiences and producing nothing but self-congratulatory liberalism intended to charm a liberal sense of superiority.
We’re tired of the propagation of a narrative created to please liberal audiences which portrays covid as a partisan disease that, were it not for the Right’s refusal to get vaccinated, would be “under control by now” thanks to our Democratic administration, and which intentionally elides the fact that “Black and Hispanic people have been less likely than their White counterparts to receive a vaccine,” which conflicts with the “It’s all MAGA country’s fault-something-something-invective-Trump!” rhetorical refuge of the Left and makes you wonder why they never mention the other groups of vaccine-hesitant people.
We’re tired of the federal government trying to make a new America in which the most basic forms of participation in society are contingent upon submitting to an unconstitutional mandate.
We’re tired of the incomprehensible notion that “vaccine passports” will keep people safe even though the vaccine does not 1) provide immunity or 2) prevent transmission of the virus. Vaccine passports serve no epidemiological purpose and it's all just Security Theatre—the illusion that public officials are actually doing something so that covid neurotics won’t devolve into hysterics.
And we’re tired of our “leaders” refusing to acknowledge that their inane policies and attendant consequences — lockdowns, vaccine passports and mandates, medical segregation, mass sackings, the closing of small businesses, deepening the pockets and extending the reach of Big Tech, and a radical normalization of digital monitoring, surveillance and state control, among others — have not only caused harms that far outweigh those of the virus, but have utterly fractured and atomized America into archipelagos of antagonistic tribes enslaved by group think and dogma.
