The list of people who hate Fauci is far greater than those who don’t hate him. I despise the man with every fiber of my being. I want him to burn in hell.
I'm glad you put a word to Fauci's mode of operation: Equivocation. Today's hearing was a farce. And I blame the Republicans for their inability to question him in an indicting way. The only one who put him on the spot was Dr. McCormick, a doctor who was in the trenches and censored for not going along with Fauci's Science. Republicans missed their chance to press him as to why the writers of the Great Barrington Declaration were censored. He claimed that everyone else lied about him in emails, and that he never lied. Fauci may be smoother than Trump, but he's every bit and more of a self-assured, narcissistic liar and sociopath. Today's performance is proof. He wasn't wrong about anything Covid related, and no doubt he would do it the same way again! 😡
Fauci is either an idiot, evil or has never been around small children. The idea that any child below kindergarten would ever wear a mask properly is laughable. He obviously didn’t care about the harm his arbitrary policies caused. And when the American Academy of Pediatrics agreed masking was essential they denied all the actual science that shows children learn language and social/emotional skills BY READING FACES! And there is a specific stage in life where this is most important. Like as toddlers who they pretended would not be harmed by this. That was just one thing of several in the past numbers of years where the AAP was playing politics and not trying to protect children, which is why I, as a Pediatrician, am no longer a member. Oh, and the idea that kids are going to learn remotely just like in person was also unscientific. It was easily predictable that this would harm kids.
My kids went to a small Catholic school, and prior to starting in the fall of 2020, the principal asked for my husband’s and my help to come up with a masking policy. We looked at actual data that showed the pre-pubertal kids were not big spreaders of Covid, but once through puberty was like adults. So under 6th grade, no masking required. They wouldn’t have worn them correctly any way. Older kids masked (probably still weren’t wearing them correctly). Not one case of spread at school. A lot of spread within big families at home. But not in school. And they actually got to go IN PERSON to school.
I will say that when I’m facing a child with a lot of cough, nasal drainage and sneezing that wearing a mask decreases my chance of catching said virus. But me wearing it. Not the kid. And only when I’m right in their face trying to look at their throat, nose or ears. I felt so bad for the toddlers forced to mask where I work, and pulling their masks down to see their poor faces covered with snot. It was inhumane.
That applies to fear itself and fear of social tyranny.
It was tens of millions of brushes with cowardice, acquiescence and compliance that lead to this abomination.
Tens of millions of "yeah...we got to send our kids to school IN PERSON"
Let me ask you:
Did you ask yourself the most simple of thought exercises: should I be sending my child off to school where they're force masked with an iron fist and you got to stay home sans mask?
Do you see the problem?
BTW: Totalitarianisms works precisely because it makes you loathe yourself in tiny increments, in a progressive fashion, for every time you tacitly assent by silence.
I mean, she's a pediatrician dude. It's not odd or fascist or whatever other fever dream your having for a doctor of sickly young children to wear a mask while practicing medicine? TF is wrong with you....
You focused in on the problem there in the end - which is the masses, not the murdering, profiteering opportunists. They will always be there and do harm, but it is the masses that allow it and even invite it with their apathy, denial and compliance - if the sales pitch is good enough.
This is akin to having a child molester in a family, that refuses to see and heed the warning signs and reports from the molested children and then insisting that the children spend the day alone, with uncle diddles.
Of course if there is an admittance that the abuse exists, then one has to shoulder the guilt, blame and shame, as well as the fact that they were abusers themselves on many levels.
This of course is why there is so much denial of the sudden deaths, turbo cancers and other chronic/life long illnesses - denial of their levels of complicity in the death and damage of their children or loved ones.
I don't hate fauci, so much as loathe and despise (which may just be semantics). I think he should have been tried and executed long ago (for the aids/azt killing fields alone). However, he and his ilk - unelected bureaucrats - are the scourge that we all have allowed to lay waste to our lives - at will.
Until we deal with these destroyers in lab coats and 3 letter organizations, we will suffer these societal molestations and killings over and over again. If you watch and listen to Fauci, he knows without a doubt, that no matter how many times he is hauled up in front of congress, nothing will happen to him. He knows he'll never spend a day in jail. There are too many deep state actors, corporate plutocrats and intel bureaucrats that profit and benefit from him.
The only worry I do believe he has, which he spoke about, are the threats. Those are not legislated or regulated by the circus that is the government regime (to include the feckless congressional hearings).
And just looking at the NIH what is their record? It's not like the failure with COVID was an aberration. Americans health has been declining for decades, chronic disease is on the rise and now affects a large proportion of even children and young adults. "Healthcare" spending is growing both in numbers and as a percentage of GDP. The only metric that is improving is the compensation of people at the NIH who even receive patent royalties from private industry so the incentives are completely out of whack, this wouldn't be acceptable even for any other government department. Normally you cash in AFTER you leave government.
And their only counterargument is that people aren't listening to them. Fine, then abolish the department. It's like a bad teacher blaming the students.
The alpha bureaucrat needs to answer for the unbelievable devastation he and his fellow bureaucrats unleashed. It’s not enough to hold politicians accountable at the ballot box. The bureaucrats need to see that they will be held accountable for their bad decisions too. Best place to start is with the Prime Bureaucrat Anthony Fauci.
If Fauci's hearing was any indication, there's not a chance in hell that anyone is going to be held responsible. The democrats fawned over him like the biggest hero of the last century. It was embarrassing.
Thank you for this excellent article. It’s unbelievable to me that we STILL can’t get expert examiners to pry necessary information from those like Fauci who pulled all of the hidden strings. I’m a career trial attorney, and I know what superb cross-examination looks like and we just don’t see it happening in these rare and precious hearings. I’m not even all that great at cross, but I find myself yelling at screens as the Republicans stumble around, ignoring the flaming holes in witnesses’ testimony, and instead look for a chance to utter pompous sound bites.
That's the problem with these hearings, the politicians will try and use the time to talk a lot to generate clips and soundbites. If they let Fauci talk more there is a chance you give him enough rope to hang himself. And that would have made for a great clip - what better boost can you get than being the person who got Fauci to perjure himself?
Thanks Brad! Good to see you highlight specific instances where policy didn´t line up with science. Unfortunately, the people who really need this information aren´t the ones that will be reading this post. Still, I gotta believe it makes a difference.
Great article. I haven’t seen anyone focus as much on the social distancing aspect and to be honest I haven’t given it as much thought as the masking and vaxxing. I suppose that is partially due to the fact that I didn’t experience as much outright hostility about not maintaining six feet as I did about refusing to wear a mask or get vaxxed. The lack of science behind the six foot rule seemed obvious to me but having people stay away from me was the least offensive of the ludicrous directives. However it is probably true that it was the most damaging due to the impact on schools and businesses trying to follow it.
I hate him too, but it's important to go beyond Fauci and recognize that when he says the 6ft rule "just sort of appeared" - nobody asks him the obvious follow-up which is: where did it "appear" from? The school closures, masking, lockdowns and vaccines all came from the same place: the biodefense/biowarfare cartel that was actually in charge of the pandemic response:
I just saw a video of him being asked questions by a pol. The questions centered around how the public is treating him. Apparently not well. He can go nowhere and requires secret service protection 24/7. Constant death threats and threats in general. He is being harassed by people claiming he has killed millions of people. Hahahahahahaha! Best news I have heard in awhile. You think the evil scumbag is getting off scot free, but he is in prison.
Seems to be standard operating procedure for many powerful people who wish to undermine and dismiss legitimate criticism: cite “threats” and online vitriol.
Online negativity is absurd. I have had it. I am not writing on my ‘Stack to debate with super negative people. Or have threads hijacked by Jew haters, for example. Virtually every single issue can devolve into someone posting Jew hatred. Or Trump haters. Disagree with me? No problem. If you’re making a reasoned argument. We can debate. Scream at me? Nah. I block them. Any public person talking about online harassment is absurd. But not being able to enjoy a meal in a restaurant? That is harassment, in actuality. And no one deserves it more than Fauci.
I'm sure people like Trump or MTG get their fair share of threats. It comes with the territory. It just moved from private spaces into online spaces. People old enough probably remember the loudmouths in the bar who talked that way offline.
The list of people who hate Fauci is far greater than those who don’t hate him. I despise the man with every fiber of my being. I want him to burn in hell.
Seriously there's no one on earth I'd rather punch.
Scientists in an executive position are typically arrogant. I don’t hate him because I realize he’s a tool.
He’s a willing tool. He’s a senior officer at a Nazi Death Camp. An assistant to “Dr.” Mengele.
Fuasci. Fauci + fascist.
So, what do you folks think about Fucci?

Masks are the road to bondage

I'm being harsh for a reason.

Dissension has a price.
Distribute it next time.
Maybe the child needs to see your face more than your fear of a cold?
This is binary. Use your imagination.
You want to see a 30's rerun?
NEVER AGAIN.

How about just remembering what is was like to be a child?
Shame on that principle. He's no better than the rest.
He belongs in a jail cell for the rest of his life!
Excellent post.

Absolutely correct.
The very sad and crazy part is, it hasn't gotten bad enough yet for the masses to force a change.
It's the same with all the issues you see ripping apart society.
20+ million illegal invaders and the terrorists, rapists and murderers that flowed, unfettered across our borders isn't bad enough yet.
Sending billions overseas while our economy crashes, is not bad enough yet.
Turning our entire government into one akin to that of a corrupt third world, is not bad enough yet.
The list goes on and on, but enough people are not outraged yet, to force change.
It will stop, when we all demand it stops. Unfortunately in a comfortable society, things usually have to hit rock bottom for that to happen.
Maybe, just maybe, the Liberals & Conservatives could agree just for once & perform a very late abortion on Mr Fuaci.

I think the silencing of dissent is what defines it all. Nothing he says/said is believable after that.
It does. There's more people coming to the stacks everyday.
They just don't interact like all of us "big mouths"...lolol

You are in good company. One lesson we failed to learn is that medical bureaucrats are no different than all other bureaucrats
