I SO hope you are right. I have always been a middle-of-the-road independent voter, but next time around I'm voting for whoever did the least harm during covid, and whoever is the least off the rails with social issues (race, gender, etc). So I guess it's the Red lever for me.
Dems have banking on southern border immigrants to make up for their loss of working class, which is more than just white people. But they did not think about fact that these same immigrants don't want unfettered abortion or for their kids to be castrated.
The religion of progress is pernicious, and it’s adherents are dangerous, we have entered a new paradigm, liberalism no longer runs on the fumes of religious tolerance it’s now fully itself and the D’s hopefully will be destroyed by their own self loathing. I love that picture I think it was from the Javits Centre on the night of Hillary losing. Is there a worse person on the planet than Hillary?
Democrats retain a powerful advantage: control of corporate media. This allows them to push stories about the Republicans' greatest weakness: Donald Trump.
Until Trump exits the national stage, or is pushed away by the Republican party, we'll continue to see celebrity nominees such as Dr. Oz and Herschel Walker winning the. primaries and losing the general elections. Both Fetterman and Warnock were easy picking if the party had been able to nominate someone with a chance of winning. Even Arizona, which should have been an easy pickup, is in question. It's possible the Democrats will retain control of the Senate and do better in the House than they should.
Long-term, the Democrats have screwed themselves. They have no bench at the national level. The leadership's average age can only be determined by carbon dating. Desantos, Hayley, Youngkin, Lake, Sununu, Paul, and the list goes on, are ready and waiting. I'd vote for a Gabbard-Youngkin ticket in a heartbeat. Gabbard won't be able to compete for the Dem nomination. Too bad Sears isn't eligible. I really like her.

Most don't want an open border either. Low wage workers are the hardest hit by under-the-table illegal workers.
